2007 - A year like no other ?

Today I deal sometimes with the Punk Rock, as it bands like NOFX, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Lagwagon, etc. is played, ie the so-called "melodic hardcore" or simply "Melody Core".

Today I dedicate myself to the band Anajo Augsburg.


Anajo make German indie-pop with lyrics that are often about topics such as love (which is common in German indie-pop is the case ;-)).
guitarist / vocalist Oliver and bassist / keyboardist Michael knew each other from school, when they formed the band in 1999, Drummer Ingolf they found on an ad. In 2005 it appeared the first album "Close to Me" in early 2007 came the follow-up "Hello, who knows whom?".

the slapstick is a 9-piece ska combo from the Cologne / Bonn (where I come from, too). you have established in 1995 and 1998 brought their first album "Ska Invasion" out. This was followed up to now 3 more Studio albums, an EP and a live album, which I would especially like you recommend. Stylistically I think they are most likely to compare with The Toasters in New York. For the toaster, they have also played as an opening act, just as for other Skagrößen like Madness and the Skatalites.

are also recommended to live the very Slapstickers, of which I was able to convince this year already, twice.
