Backstage Convict in sound

Jean-Claude : The music is from Jamaica also very often by violence, women's discrimination or drugs. How do you stand on this?
Convict Sound: can compare Jamaica and Europe impossible. The people of Jamaica sing about what they see or take part in their lives had been or about what they get told by friends. Clearly, negative feelings and thoughts are recorded in the texts. We see ourselves more as the voice of this music. We share the people here in Europe with what's going on in Jamaica, no matter what the topic is it at that.

Jean-Claude : means your music style known as "Dance Hall". As the scene has changed over the years?
Convict Sound: We are using the "Sean Paul Welle" grew up. Around the year 2004/2005 were many cities, for example, Speyer, at a high level and dancehall sounds, and everywhere there were crews - while today there are only certain cities such as Stuttgart, Munich and Mannheim is to have a big scene. Many have stopped or simply abandoned. We have remained loyal to us and today we are the new wave of dancehall generation. And we are in some ways also a little proud.

verge of treads - the guys from Convict sound system

Jean-Claude : What sources of information you can to our readers who want to learn more about Dance Hall, recommended?
Convict Sound: The magazine "Riddim" and the Internet Forum www.dancehallmusic.de "are highly recommended to inform in detail about him.

Jean-Claude : What audience do you want to appeal primarily to your party events ?
Convict Sound: For the most part, the inlet until the age of 18. So I would say our audience is between 18 - 26 years. For some events, admission is already over 16 years, but only with parental consent.

Jean-Claude : Thank you for the interview and we wish you every success with your music.
Convict Sound: Yeah we got even, Give Thanks.

Dog Has Purple Testicls

Part 1 of exclusive interview with Convict Sound

The Convict sound crew (from left): Master C, Ganja gunman, Olde, angels, pure player, Sandra P, Dirty Fabio

The sound system "Convict Sound" is an association of DJs and MCs Olde, angels, pure player, Master C, Sandra P, Ganja Gunman Dirty and Fabio from Speyer. During the period of almost five year career (from about two and a half years with the club shows) can look back the "Convict Sound" crew to become countless milestones.
you know, many of the parties in the "Rude 7 in Mannheim, the "Hall 101" and the
"Oldstyle" Club and the Music Park "in Speyer and the events in" free space "in Landau.
For me this was the reason you in the form of an interview to present the boys of "Convict Sound" in person. Today you can read the first part of the exclusive interviews. The second part will appear next week.

Jean-Claude: How are you in the name of "Convict Sound "come from? Is it the name of a story?
Convict Sound: This name had us at that time very much and means "to convict" yes prisoner - we are so connected to the sound of Jamaica that we as prisoners "in the vibes and feelings of this music see. This can also clearly see in our logo. animated on your events you and the audience:

Jean-Claude. In addition to the usual Language there is also a specialized language. How would you describe it?
Convict Sound: We call this language Patois (French), which is exclusively spoken in Jamaica. For example, "how are you?" Is then called "Wah gwaan?" Or "girl" is only translated "gyal". Our MC responds to the gigs not only patois, as not all the audience understands this.

Jean-Claude: Olde, you're the front man of Convict. What are you working full time and how can the whole, agree with the music?
Olde MC: I work full time as an IT administrator. It's pure stress bringing everything under one roof. Nevertheless, we are always organized. The money is our lack of focus. We do this because we are preparing people to watch dancing pleasure. The passion for music connects our crew.

Jean-Claude : people who live for the music, are polarizing. Is it to your parties and groupies in the 50s or 60s, for example in rock music?
Convict Sound (grinning): Our events have always been many women who are also good, etc. But right there we have groupies yet taken any. Our female followers are usually rather shy and log in to the party on social networking with us.

Jean-Claude : "Convict Sound" soon reaches its 5th anniversary. What are your most beautiful and biggest successes?
Convict Sound: About two years ago we had a very nice performance in "Salt & Pepper Club in Pforzheim. The valency, seen us, the third consecutive success means the "Irie Vibez Sound Contest" in Mannheim in the "Rude 7" of course very much. The performance at the "Chiemsee Reggae Summer Festival" is another of our major successes. For us it does, however, no to win big role countless competitions. Here we encounter the dancing and roaring crowd in the foreground.

Jean-Claude : What criteria from their vibes and your tracks for the upcoming party night?
Convict Sound: us it is important that the mix is right. We always think about, that people come to our parties that go maybe a party once or twice a month. These are then not super current on the scene information. For the cracks of the scene we also present the latest sounds and tracks from Jamaica.
Thus, the perfect blend created for a successful party night.

Why Should I Be On The Manchester Access Program

Realize your creativity - Start a band

From: Dominik (co-editor of the music section)

Today I would like my little series "Realize your creativity - Start a Band" (in German: Realize your creativity and start a band) start in which I tell you piece by piece would, on what you need to pay anything if you want to start their own band.

bands there are now a dime a dozen. Almost daily, new "musical groups". But most of it usually disappears just as quickly into oblivion. Why this is so can be summed up easily: Lack of organization, unrealistic goals, musical differences, lack of experience and inadequate equipment are just some of the points that can lead to newly formed bands were before their first public appearance already dissolved again. Therefore, I would "start a band and maintained" in the near future from my own experiences on the subject report. This report should not be considered as "ideal way" or guide the band was founded - but there is a report that will serve as a little help.

Let me start - logically - with the band's foundation itself. The very first question I should ask me this is, "What kind of music do I want at all and speak I help my instrument good enough?" For a certain degree of "professionalism" should be easy to present, which is not in the years how long have played the instrument / measure learned, can be. It may well be the case that someone who started 3 years ago, already has more going for someone who is informed regularly for almost 10 years. This is then probably in his own discretion. This question is clarified, it is obviously equal to the next (and in my opinion the most important): "Who will be involved in all of the band" - meaning the "occupation" must be found. Of course, it is advantageous when the future band members already know well or with their friends, but one should not shy away in a strange look. This can happen in different ways.

The most popular way is, of course the Internet (WKW, Facebook, etc. Students VZ), but also notices in appropriate places, such as in music schools are, quite popular. Of course, you bring your patience, because it often takes longer until it finally gathered all the band members have. It is important, according to the desired style of music (which it is naturally align with the future "musicians") to select the cast, so that all the necessary tools are in place. If one takes this into account everything that a first step towards his own band has been made.

What next then, you'll get next time

Sample Of Speech By Ceo

Backstage at: Awry Axle

With the series "Backstage with ... 'you will regularly informed about bands from the region, just before a Appearance or want to take after the show time to talk.

Today I present you Awry Axle front from Speyer.
This past Sunday was Halloween, the band at the Hard 'N' Heavy Rock concert at the Schifferstadt pub Kwetsch "on.

imminent before the soundcheck, the band took time for a dialogue with us.

Jean-Claude: Have you before your gigs special rituals that you practice?
Awry Axle: Special rituals are not. We knock each other warmly on the shoulder and then go close to the stage.

Jean-Claude: runs, as the soundcheck from among you?
Awry Axle: The sound check is carried out by us personally. We play it mostly for getting warm by Judas Priest - Break In The Law "

Jean-Claude: could you even imagine opening for Judas Priest to play?
Awry Axle: we definitely would do that very much. This band can identify all the band members. But even greats such as AC / DC "," Scorpions "or" Iron Maiden "would be nice.

Jean-Claude: How do you choose the songs on your playlist? Is there a specific plan by which it is happening that you enter into, for example, to the clientele of the audience?
Awry Axle: The playlist for the upcoming show is put together at short notice from us. A colorful mix of rock and metal classics from the 80s and 90s. But more recent titles, we take it. We're doing our thing. Easy Hard 'N' Heavy!

Jean-Claude: How can I see the audience is drawn predominantly black. Do you have a stage outfit?
Awry Axle: a special outfit, we have not. We also advanced the color is black - as are the character and the face of everyone better.

Jean-Claude: Have you called a band leader in the band?
Awry Axle: The band itself is the bandleader. Our singer Sven are usually set the tone. He is our "voice". can
