you know, many of the parties in the "Rude 7 in Mannheim, the "Hall 101" and the
"Oldstyle" Club and the Music Park "in Speyer and the events in" free space "in Landau.
For me this was the reason you in the form of an interview to present the boys of "Convict Sound" in person. Today you can read the first part of the exclusive interviews. The second part will appear next week.
Jean-Claude: How are you in the name of "Convict Sound "come from? Is it the name of a story?
Convict Sound: This name had us at that time very much and means "to convict" yes prisoner - we are so connected to the sound of Jamaica that we as prisoners "in the vibes and feelings of this music see. This can also clearly see in our logo. animated on your events you and the audience:
Jean-Claude. In addition to the usual Language there is also a specialized language. How would you describe it?
Convict Sound: We call this language Patois (French), which is exclusively spoken in Jamaica. For example, "how are you?" Is then called "Wah gwaan?" Or "girl" is only translated "gyal". Our MC responds to the gigs not only patois, as not all the audience understands this.
Jean-Claude: Olde, you're the front man of Convict. What are you working full time and how can the whole, agree with the music?
Jean-Claude: Olde, you're the front man of Convict. What are you working full time and how can the whole, agree with the music?
Olde MC: I work full time as an IT administrator. It's pure stress bringing everything under one roof. Nevertheless, we are always organized. The money is our lack of focus. We do this because we are preparing people to watch dancing pleasure. The passion for music connects our crew.
Jean-Claude : people who live for the music, are polarizing. Is it to your parties and groupies in the 50s or 60s, for example in rock music?
Convict Sound (grinning): Our events have always been many women who are also good, etc. But right there we have groupies yet taken any. Our female followers are usually rather shy and log in to the party on social networking with us.
Jean-Claude : "Convict Sound" soon reaches its 5th anniversary. What are your most beautiful and biggest successes?
Convict Sound: About two years ago we had a very nice performance in "Salt & Pepper Club in Pforzheim. The valency, seen us, the third consecutive success means the "Irie Vibez Sound Contest" in Mannheim in the "Rude 7" of course very much. The performance at the "Chiemsee Reggae Summer Festival" is another of our major successes. For us it does, however, no to win big role countless competitions. Here we encounter the dancing and roaring crowd in the foreground.
Jean-Claude : What criteria from their vibes and your tracks for the upcoming party night?
Convict Sound: us it is important that the mix is right. We always think about, that people come to our parties that go maybe a party once or twice a month. These are then not super current on the scene information. For the cracks of the scene we also present the latest sounds and tracks from Jamaica.
Thus, the perfect blend created for a successful party night.
